ADAM REDMOND

When people ask me where I’m from, I sigh deeply. Only because I then have to give them a long and well-rehearsed spiel. I tell them I’m half-Irish, half-English but I was born in Saudi, raised in Dubai and shipped off to boarding school in New Zealand. As a result, I now have three passports, a rather odd accent and suspect my parents don’t really love me (they live in England with my other two brothers who didn’t get sent to boarding school).

After successfully being born, I went on to graduate from Media Design School with Distinction in 2017. Since then, I’ve managed to pick up a few advertising awards including a grey one that looks like the novelty pencils kids sometimes use. None of my friends understand how cool that is, but I'm hoping you'll appreciate it.

For the last 4 years, I've been gainfully employed at FCB New Zealand and have worked on nearly all of their clients. I’ve done the small jobs, the ugly jobs and even a few big jobs, plus I’ve even won a pitch or two. However, I’m not done yet and would love to hear about any more jobs that need doing. So if you know of any, please don’t hesitate to get in touch!

"Always loved working with Adam & Emerson. They're super clever, super creative, always looking for the next big break-through idea and happy to think way-way out of the box. As two creative partners they're chalk and cheese - and that's what makes them so perfect. A great addition to any creative department - a team that thrives on looking for the biggest, most unexpected insights ever. Good lads for sure."

Tony Clewett

Chief Creative Officer, FCB New Zealand

Despite the fearsome red beard and well gnawed sleeves (that I have become so affectionately fond of since) I was delighted to have Adam on the Creative Advertising Programme at Media Design School in 2017 because his effervescence and passion infused the whole class. That he quickly secured a job at the end of the year from FCB with his final portfolio (and a D&AD pencil with one of the ideas he completed in that portfolio) is testimony to his relentless passion for ideas.

Kate Humphries

Programme Director for Creative Advertising at Media Design School

Adam and I worked together at FCB where I was Head Of Content for 8.5 years.
Adam and his art Director came on as a junior team, and were quickly recognised as a tight team who would get the job done and were promoted to intermediate in a short time. We had some tricky creative pieces to make, and with a desire for awards on one campaign for Dettol Laundry Sanitiser, Adam and I had to work closely, pulling our resources together to ensure an entire idea worked successfully through the line.

Pip Mayne

Head of Content, FCB

A seriously talented Copywriter and original creative thinker. I love Adam's work.
